Battle for Lemuri: Magic & Steel series

Alec had been feeling lost ever since Jenny left him. He decided that he needed an escape, a break from the monotony of everyday life, and enlisted the help of his best friend, Josh. Together they planned a getaway to clear their minds and start anew. However Alec couldn't shake the horrible nightmares that plagued him recently of warzones, or the visions of some mysterious man; every time he closed his eyes, they kept coming back and they had been causing him some concern. One stormy night, while Alec and Josh were in his living room planning the trip in question, something very strange happened: a thick cloud appeared out of nowhere accompanied by a voice calling them on an unexpected journey. Following the voice's instructions, they found themselves in a strange land, standing before them they met Freyja, the powerful protector of Sofpavel. She told them that Alec was chosen for some grand destiny of which would determine the fate of the world, not just their own but of all the realms in the known universe. As shadows from an old war began to stir once more, the realms previously protected so vigilantly by the now deceased Morpheus were in danger once again; their old foes right hand man Probetor now rose against them with unfathomable powers. In order to protect their world, Freyja took Alec to the castle of light where she explained about the legendary Sword of Angurvagal, the blade used to subdue and trap the Jinn in great wars long ago which also possesses great powers for the right beholder of the weapon. At Lemuri Falls, Freyja and Hypnos discovered Alec held a key power that could end all this, but its origin remained unknown. Subsequently, upon entering the waters in order for them to gain some more knowledge of his origin, he learned about dark magic and spells regarding Probetor while also discovering that he had a profound connection to these otherworldly creatures beyond what he ever imagined. The pools reveal that he is indeed of a unique mix of bloodlines but the exact origins of which this did not reveal. Hypnos later informed Alec that Josh had ventured off on his own into these strange, new lands of Erobus out of his extreme curiosity. When Alec found him lying unconscious in a clearing afterhis own run in with an immense Phoenix, he discovered the truth: Josh was not who he said he was and came from a realm known as Alerion. He had been assigned as Alec's royal guard by his mother who still watched over him from afar and herself was now a ruler of the great realm. Unbeknownst to Alec, his mother also held the power of the great Phoenix - and was embroiled in something much larger than anyone expected. Together with Logan, Alec and Josh tracked down Probetor and his army of undead Koschei, determined to find the blade they knew to be in his possession before he was unable to either use its power or release the Jinn, the dark lord from its confines. They soon learned that Jenny had been working with Probetor all along and had been sent to Maredrom to try and sway Alec to the dark side. During this adventure Alec learns that Probetor is his father and also the brother of Morpheus. upon falling in love with his mother who at the time was a human he was banished to earth. During his time there he became resentful of the punishments he was being handed down and with the Jinn whispering in his ear was turned to the dark side, now seeking revenge for what he perceived to be numerous betrayals. His mother fearing for Alec left him on earth with her parents whilst fleeing to Alerion and becoming one of them herself. This led to his unique bloodline. Probetor revealed a secret passage to Lemuri's islands, planning to release the Jinn and access the Drasal tree from behind the great falls using Morpheus' sword and Alec's body as a conduit. In order to save the world from destruction, Alec must confront his destiny and fight against Probetor's evil forces. With the help of friends and family, he valiantly battled until emerging triumphant as the savior of the world amongst the great wars that ensued with numerous armies and great creatures combined.
